Can you tell me what width the stud walls need to be to house the Hideaway pocket kit please?
The finished wall thickness outside the Hideaway pocket door kit will be 115 – 120mm (depending whether you use the packer which comes in the kit or not). This assumes 2 x 12.5mm thick wall boards are used.

Is there a door closer you can use with riser hinges?
You can use any standard arm door closer which has sufficient “play” in the elbow of the arm. It is not an ideal solution, as the door closer needs to be very carefully sited so that the arm does not … Continue reading

I’m looking to purchase a door closer for a busy commercial building. It needs to be heavy duty and big and able to handle a weight of 100kg. Do you have anything that would be suitable?
We would recommend either the Geze TS5000 guide rail door closer, or the Geze TS4000 standard arm door closer, both are adjustable power size 1 – 6, with a range of excellent features and suitable for very high usage, heavy … Continue reading

I live in a flat of a converted Victorian house with a grand, big communal front door. Which is slammed a lot! I was looking at these door closers and wondered if you could recommend one? The door closes quite easily when pushed – but obviously we need to be sure that the closer will consistently do that. Any ideas?
A door closer would be a good solution for your slamming problem. For a large door (and width is the most important dimension to consider) you might go for a medium to heavy duty door closer like the TS2000 or … Continue reading

Is the Projeto 150 sliding door gear available as a ceiling mounted system? We are looking for a system that slides a single leaf 1500w x 2735h x 60 thick door.
Ceiling mounting brackets can be supplied (although these are not the recommended brackets included in the kits). The door size is unlikely to be a problem, as the Projeto can take up to 120kg per door.

I currently have a Geze TS1500 door closer on my balcony door, but it does not hold the door open (i.e., door slams shut). I’m confused as to which additional or replacement part I need to keep the door open.
The hold open arm can be subsituted for the standard arm, and can be purchased on our web page, link here.

I need a digital lock to use on the rear entrance to my building, problem is there’s lots of vandalism at night and I need it to be secure.
Our heaviest duty, most robust digital lock is the Lockey L1150 which has a lever handle with a safety clutch mechanism designed to protect it from excessive force or vandalism.

Can a door closer arm be fitted to a curved architrave?
When an architrave has moulding or curved features where the foot of the door closer arm is supposed to go, one usually chisels out a flat surface to screw the shoe on to.
