Q: Could you tell me if the AL155 door handle can be used on an exterior door or are they only suitable for internal use?
A: The AL155 is probably more suitable as an internal door handle. There is a similar one available in Stainless Steel, the S129 which has the dimpled design as well, which would be more weather resistant.

Q: I need to adjust some fire doors which are all fitted with Geze TS2000 closers, we can adjust the speed but not the latch speed, can you advise us?
A: The latching adjustment for a TS2000 is set by changing the position of the arm, see this link to our web page, then scroll to the bottom and look at the Fitting pdf, it’s shown on page 2 of … Continue reading

We already have Exidor push opening system on all our exterior doors, and we have a key lock on the outside, we need to replace all the locks with a push button system. Does the thicknesses of the doors matter? Can we set them to be unlocked sometimes?
The CL1’s and CL2’s can be fitted to doors up to 60mm thick without modification. The CL1 digital lock requires the code to be entered every time the door is opened from the outside. The CL2 can operate that way, … Continue reading

I require a spare part for wardrobe sliding door. It is the wheel mechanism. Unsure about make of wardrobe as in house when we bought house, please see photo below.
Thank you for the photo. Unfortunately the wheels are not from one of our sliding systems (Geze, Coburn or Projeto). Perhaps if you send this photo to other sliding door companies, someone will recognise them and may be able to … Continue reading

Q: Would it be possible to adapt your Hideaway system to incorporate a glass door?
Unfortunately there are no compatible glass clamps available for the Hideaway system. The two alternatives you might consider are the iMpero pocket door system buying additional glass clamps (+ probably the timber jambs for glass doors), OR buying a Rollan … Continue reading

Do you have an agent in the Rep. of Ireland? I am interested in the Exidor panic hardware.
We don’t have an agent in Ireland. We use TNT shipping, so theoretically we can supply anywhere. Contact us directly with your town & county, we can calculate the weight of your shipment and provide a shipping quote.

Q: Please can you confirm if you have any sliding door kits that are suitable for a kitchen. In particular I am concerned that a kitchen door is normally a fire door. Do sliding doors meet the safety/building requirements for use as a kitchen door and if so which kit should I use?
A: The only fire rated sliding door gear we can offer is the iMpero pocket door fire door kit. A “normal” (i.e. non-pocket) sliding door could not ever meet fire regulations because of the inevitable air spaces between the wall and … Continue reading
