We’re still open on Bank Holiday Monday and shall be in the office to answer phones, so if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us during normal office hours. Hopefully, therefore any bank holiday DIY jobs can be completed even if you need some information on a product. Doorstuff is delighted to be donating the £100 cash prize for the Winner of ‘The Big Quiz’ being hosted by The Plymouth Litas (Lady Bikers Club) in aid of Alzheimer’s Research at The Chequered Flag Cafe in Liskeard on Saturday 4th August at 7pm. Litas founder Josie Sloan and biking blogger Donna Powell shot a video when they came round to collect the cheque so expect hilarious bloopers and outtakes once it is out of edit! You will be able to buy tickets through the Litas page @Litasplym once the fliers are circulating.

Hooray! Doorstuff have finally re-located business premises a couple of miles down the road from Newton Abbot to 10 Estuary Court, Broadmeadow Industrial Estate, Teignmouth, TQ14 9FA. We’re grateful for all the kind words and support of friends, colleagues, customers and suppliers while we muddled through – but we are proud to say now: we’re in and we look forward to welcoming you to visit us!

Doorstuff’s very own Helen Butland is interviewed on Simon Bates’ BBC Radio Devon breakfast show about their imminent move to Estuary Court, Broadmeadow in Teignmouth – a very exciting expansion for Doorstuff increasing the floor space threefold and allowing new product lines which previously could not be squeezed into stock. A proud moment for ‎Doorstuff‬ founder & MD Ian Butland (left), picking up his Silver Medal Award at the GAI diploma presentation ceremony on Wednesday at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. He won the award (to loud applause) for coming internationally second overall in the 3rd Year GAI Diploma qualifications.

We have a position in Newton Abbot, Devon for Technical Sales & Customer Service within this long established, family run company covering a combination of traditional architectural ironmongery services, internet and trade counter sales.  We are looking for a confident, dynamic and customer focused individual to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers across the UK.  The role will involve regular contact with customers over the phone, ensuring that sales opportunities are generated and delivered.  Emphasis is placed on fostering excellent customer relationships, so effective communication skills are very important.  A working knowledge of Sage Line 50 & e-commerce, including eBay & Amazon processes, would be highly advantageous.  The successful candidate will have undertaken the first year Diploma Guild of AI, or have technical experience to that level.
