How Timber Pocket Door Floorguides Work

July 26, 2017 by

Doorstuff supplies timber pocket door kits with floor guides situated inside the pocket. The floor guide fits in a groove in the bottom of the door to guide it as it leaves the pocket. This gives an unobstructed threshold which eliminates trip hazards and prevents dust and dirt accumulation often found when a guide is routed into the floor. To protect the groove in the bottom of your door, you could use our S1702 Plastic Protective Channel. The same system is used in many of our surface-mounted sliding door systems.
