Can you recommend a door closer that would shut a residential property door as quietly and controlled as possible?

We recommend the Geze TS1500 as a good domestic door closer, it has variable closing force in two sizes, adjustable closing speed and adjustable hydraulic latching action and so gives plenty of controllability. If you are price conscious, the Eurospec F2003 door closer at £12.75 + VAT is also a good closer, less attractive to look at, but has a good degree of adjustability.
