Terms & Conditions
Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they set out the
terms under which the Doorstuff Ltd makes the products available to you ("Product
Terms").
Prices
The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out in the
web site.
Availability
If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a
particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Acceptance
Orders placed on our online hardware store are an offer to purchase and are
subject to acceptance by Doorstuff Limited. We try always to ensure availability
is correct, but sometimes stock can sell out quickly. In the rare event this
occurs, we will attempt to contact you to advise on when products can be delivered
or suggest an alternative purchase or full refund if there is a delay for
delivery. The customer is responsible that information provided to us on address,
personal details, delivery address and method of payment are true and accurate.
Any changes to such details must be notified immediately to our Customer Services
Team on customerservices@doorstuff.co.uk.
Delivery
Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. You should check the
order details on the email confirmations and advise immediately of any changes.
Please note that we can only deliver products within mainland and offshore
UK. Most deliveries will be made to you by courier, items under 1kg may be sent via Royal Mail first class.
We do our best to secure
delivery within the period quoted but shall not be liable for loss occasioned
by delay in delivery or arising out of any cause beyond our control. No deliveries
are made on a Saturday, except by specific prior discussion with a member
of staff, additional charges apply.
If you place your order before 12:30pm. on a working day, we will endeavor to dispatch the same day for delivery between 8am and 6pm the following working
day. Royal Mail postal delivery times may be longer. Some areas (e.g. Highlands, postcode areas: all IV postcodes, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49, PH50, Islands and Northern Ireland) also take longer for courier delivery.
If you place your order on a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday the item/items
will be dispatched Monday for delivery on Tuesday.If you have placed an order,
with a requested delivery day which falls upon a bank holiday, please expect
delivery the day after.
Our courier does not deliver on bank holidays. In certain areas the delivery
may take up to three working days (i.e. Scottish Highlands and certain other
rural areas.)
Please Note - Next day deliveries are not guaranteed, even though 99% of orders
do get to their destinations the following day, we cannot be held responsible
for late deliveries due to events that are out of our control.

Doorstuff is closing on 22nd December for Christmas, re-opening on Wednesday 3rd January 2018. The deadlines for placing orders to be dispatched before the shutdown is as follows:-

No quibble money back guarantee
We are so confident of the quality of our products that if any item does not
meet your expectations you may return it for whatever reason within 14 days,
no quibble! All we ask is that returns arrive in unused, perfect condition,
with the original packaging still intact. Costs of returning the goods are your responsibility. DO NOT return the item without first contacting us as we will be unable to give you a refund. Customers must obtain proof of return
from their carrier. Any returns after 14 days are at our discretion and a 15%
restocking fee will be charged. No returns will be accepted after 90 days.
Items which are made-to-order, or finished-to-order are not refundable. Customers must meet the cost of return carriage on correctly supplied goods.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please Note - you are responsible for cost of returning unwanted/cancelled items to us and for the value of the goods if they are diminished as a result of your handling whilst with you or in the return transit to us. Please take care of them and package them well.
Faulty Goods
All Doorstuff products are rigorously quality checked before dispatch but
in the unlikely event that you experience any problems or your product is
faulty please e-mail us at support@doorstuff.co.uk or call our customer service
team on 01626 335500.
We will promptly deal with your queries and if necessary
arrange for a replacement to be sent without delay. This does not affect your
statutory rights.
Payment
You can pay on-line with all major credit and debit cards. Your payment card
details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access
or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. You
will be charged for items at the point of order. Our liability to you in connection
with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy.
We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance
with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2
reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the
best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have
given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing
email from us in the future. The type of information we will collect about
you includes:
your name
address
phone number
email address
credit/debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit
consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can
check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any
inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information
which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security
policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the
EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We
may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site.
This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your
browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The
information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify
your browser settings.
